What the marketplace is—and what is still being built.
Is Local Services just the Salon app renamed?
No. The architecture deliberately moves beyond salon-specific assumptions. Beauty & Wellness is the first vertical, but the marketplace core models generic providers, services, orders, sessions, pricing and fulfilment.
Will customers need a different app for each service industry?
No. The plan is one responsive web marketplace and one native customer app, with additional verticals activated through the same service taxonomy and marketplace foundation.
Can services happen at the customer's location?
Yes. The foundation supports provider-location, customer-location, remote and hybrid fulfilment models.
Does every service have to be an appointment?
No. The marketplace supports multiple engagement models including booking, requests, quotes, fixed jobs, recurring work and multi-visit services.
Are payments active already?
The Local Services product is still in development. Payment execution belongs to TouteGestion's shared payment infrastructure and is not presented here as an already-live marketplace payment capability.
Is the provider dashboard finished?
Not yet. Provider operations are being migrated into a generic Local Services surface rather than duplicating the old Salon-specific dashboard.
